16 gamweeks in to the season, 3 podiums, all in rare, all 1st place. After winning 1st place in In Season Rare Contender in GW 10 ,and Classic Rare Underdog in GW 13, now comes the big one - 1st in Classic Rare Champion. Here's how I put up another winning lineup:

Rule number 1: Ceiling, Ceiling, Ceiling

Rule number 1 for me when building a lineup is simple: pick the players with the highest ceiling. Most of the times it's the players who could also put up annoyingly low scores, but these are the best Sorare plays - their cap drops after some bad performances, making them a lot more attractive and eventually turning them to the best plays.

Not going to talk a lot about Luka here, I am a big fan of his and so my gallery is very much Luka oriented (2 of his cards in each scarcity, one for classic and one for IS). He had and amazing play and ended up being the top performer and the best outperformer for the entire weekend.

Simons and Haliburton are both players who answer exactly to that definition of players who put up bad performances, their cap drops, then they put up a smash play. their cap was attractive enough and I was willing to take the risk, that ended up paying off.

The guys that were overdue for a big game

Bilal Coulibaly was the first player I knew was going to be in my lineup. the Wizards were without Kuzma and George and it felt like most people were focusing on Poole to smash. I did play Poole in my other lineup but after a slow start to the season, I knew it was time for Bilal to have big game.

Same thing was for Desmond Bane. He started his season pretty slow and with Ja and JJJ active he was a bit pushed to side. I believed he could also have a game, especially against the Nets. I'm sharing some of my best plays before each GW. Check out some of the plays I'm eyeing for GW 17 here and give me a follow on X here so you don't miss any post.
