Gameweek 9 is starting soon, and it’s time to get your Sorare NBA lineups ready. Alongside the traditional competitions, gameday 3 of the NBA Cup is taking place tomorrow and cash rewards are coming to daily hoops that day. As long as you have the required 2 in season cards (per rarity) you can get in and try to win some cash!

Remember - players locked in a pro lineup cannot be used in daily hoops, so choose wisely!

From key matchups to top MVPs and smart value picks, we’ve got the insights to help you make this gameweek a success. Let’s dive in.

Key Matchups

Bulls vs. Pistons (Tuesday, Nov 19)

  • The Pistons' defense is still inconsistent, creating opportunities for Bulls players like Coby White to shine, especially in facilitating roles.

  • Pistons forward Jalen Duren could dominate the paint with rebounds and blocks.

Pacers vs. Raptors (Tuesday, Nov 19)

  • Pacers' fast-paced style could turn this into a high-scoring affair. Look for Bennedict Mathurin to exploit the Raptors' defensive gaps.

  • On the Raptors side, Gradey Dick can contribute in multiple stat categories if he stays aggressive on both ends.

Rockets vs. Bucks (Tuesday, Nov 19)

  • With Giannis Antetokounmpo likely drawing most of the attention, Damian Lillard could post up some numbers if he returns from his injury.

  • The Rockets’ Jabari Smith Jr. could benefit from the Bucks' focus on Jalen Green and Fred VanVleet.

Hawks vs. Kings (Tuesday, Nov 19)

  • The Kings’ Keegan Murray has been stepping up offensively, and this matchup could provide another scoring opportunity, especially with DeRozan and Sabonis supposedly sitting this one out.

  • Hawks’ Vit Krejci may deliver a strong performance from the bench.

Jazz vs. Lakers (Wednesday, Nov 20)

  • With Walker Kessler questionable, John Collins could be key for the Jazz, providing scoring and rebounding against the Lakers' frontcourt.

  • Lakers’ role players like Austin Reaves may provide steady contributions if LeBron and AD dominate usage.

Trail Blazers vs. Thunder (Thursday, Nov 21)

  • The Thunder’s Jalen Williams (Jay-Dub) is an excellent option for filling stat sheets across the board.

  • On the Trail Blazers side, Shaedon Sharpe continues to develop as a scoring threat in the absence of Anfernee Simons.

Value Plays

High-Risk, High-Reward

  • Bennedict Mathurin (Pacers): While inconsistent, his ceiling is high in fast-paced games like the one against the Raptors.

  • Shaedon Sharpe (Trail Blazers): If he gets hot early, Sharpe could easily lead Portland in scoring against the Thunder.

  • Trey Lyles (Kings): With Domantas Sabonis likely out, Trey Lyles could see an expanded role against the Hawks, building on his 23 Sorare points from the last game.
